Mary Walker Historical and Educational Foundation will host the first of a series of FUNraisers themed Adult Game Night on Friday, July 19, from 7-11 p.m. at EastGate Town Center, 5600 Brainerd Road.
Chef Mike Sylman of Belinda Sue's Fresh and Fast is cooking some of his specials to order (included in the fee). Also, free "mocktails" and other beverages are on deck all night. Games include UNO, Monopoly, Spades, Twister, inflatable jousting, pool golf, sumo suits and more.
"Besides raising funds, the goal is to give adults a chance to play multiple games and have fun like they did when they were a kid," organizers said. "The night is complete with everything, including Jenga, Scrabble, pool golf, sumo suits, giant bowling and more. There will also be flashback gaming activities, like Sega. Bring a few friends to form a team to play Family Feud, or to play relay games. Prizes will be awarded to lucky winners."
Purchase tickets at adultgamenightchattanooga.eventbrite.com. "Demand for this event is high, and space is limited," organizers said.
Proceeds benefit Mary Walker Historical and Educational Foundation and #GiveWomenandGirlsEducation, projects that support local youth, as well as literacy programs for females and orphans in Cameroon, Africa. This event is sponsored by Erlanger Health System.
