Woman, 21, Shot At Stop Sign In Glenwood Early Friday Morning

A 21-year-old woman was shot early Friday morning in Glenwood.
 
The incident happened at approximately 12:52 a.m. in the 1200 block of Glenwood Drive.
 
Officers were in the area near Wilcox and North Chamberlain Avenue when they heard gunshots. Officers made contact with the driver of a silver vehicle who advised she had been shot.
 
Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.
 
The CPD Violent Crimes Bureau was notified and responded to conduct further investigation.
 
The victim advised investigators that she was driving and stopped at a stop sign when a vehicle pulled up next to her and began shooting.
