A criminal indictment says former Hixson High School teacher Bethany White had sex with a teen.
Ms. White, 41, was arrested last week on a charge of aggravated statutory rape.
The indictment says she had sex with a person older than 13 and younger than 18.
She had been director of the school's sports medicine program.
Ms. White was earlier suspended and she recently resigned from the school system.
