The Dalton Police Department was on the scene at 2580 Abutment Road Monday morning investigating an officer-involved shooting.
The shooting occurred in the roadway in front of the business at 2580 Abutment Road which is called Sonoco. The incident happened at approximately 9 a.m. Nobody from the business was involved.
Officers were on scene responding to multiple reports of a suspect behaving erratically, and running in and out of traffic along Abutment Road.
