Birmingham, AL -- The Birmingham Barons collected a season-high 18 hits in a wild 11-10 victory against the Chattanooga Lookouts) on Friday night at Regions Field.
Combined with the Lookouts 16 hits, both teams together totaled and incredible 34.
Birmingham scored all 11 runs in the first four innings of the game.
Chattanooga charged back with nine unanswered runs across the next three frames to pull within one run. After being down by ten runs they would put on a hitting display in the second half of the game.
The Lookouts plated four in the fifth, two in the sixth and three more in the seventh against a collection of three Barons pitchers.blasting away and to make the blowout close in their one run loss.
The 16 hits that produced the ten runs included three hits by Gaven LaValley and Chris Okey.
Two hits from Ibandel Isabel and his fill in Brantley Bell along with Calten Daal made the game a lot closer than the Barons wanted.
Jose Siri produced a three RBI night along with a triple.
The Lookouts used six pitchers while the Barons had five on the mound to complete the deal.
The Barons won the series four games to one.

Saturday the Lookouts are at home to face the Tennessee Smokies with LHP-Reiver Sanmartin (0-4) on the mound while the Smokies have not announced their starting pitcher.

LHP Reiver Sanmartin will be on mound Saturday evening at AT&T Field in search of his first win with the Lookouts.
