Heavy Rain Sends Water Into Hamilton Place Mall Food Court

  • Wednesday, July 31, 2019

Heavy rain on Wednesday afternoon caused flooding in the vicinity of Gunbarrel Road.

It also sent water into the food court at Hamilton Place Mall, causing it to close.

Other stores on the lower level were affected.

There was a roof leak at Sephora skin care on the upper level, causing rain water to pour in.

Water was also high up on a number of vehicles in the mall parking lot.

Some vehicles at Women's East Hospital on Gunbarrel Road were flooded and were being pulled from the high water.
