Sandra Kay Mayo, 55, of Chattanooga passed away on July 8, 2019.

 

She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

 

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Scooter” Mayo, her parents, Bernard and Jettie Eddy, and her brothers, Danny and James Lee Szekely.

 

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Tony Mayo, children, Mystical (Steve) Maynor, Lee Ann Holbrook (Michael Callahan), Tamiah Munroe, April (Travis) Shaver, and Jennifer Durham, grandchildren, Dillon, Taylor, and Jordan Jones, Michael Brown, Miracle and Heidi Dutton, and Genesia Sifuentes, Kasea and Makalyn Munroe, and Ila Rose Perry, Ashley Hurst and Hunter and Koebe Shaver, Aaliyah and Dayton Hammontree, great-grandchildren, Dawson and Daxton Hurst, brother, James DJ Szekely, nieces, Angel and Tiffany Szekely and many close friends.

 

A Celebration of Sandra’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14, at 5 p.m. with Pastor Tony Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3 p.m. A private family service will be held on Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

 

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.
