Major public art installations are planned along the Riverwalk at the Wheland Foundry Trailhead and at Tatum Park in Highland Park.

The $370,750 project along the newest section of the Riverwalk is by Marc Fornes of Brooklyn, N.Y. That cost is being split evenly between the Lyndhurst Foundation and the Benwood Foundation.

The sculpture, located near the Chattanooga Creek bridge, will be over 23 feet high.

A sculpture by Randy Walker of Minneapolis, Minn., is planned to be installed at Tatum Park by this fall.

The city's portion will be $50,000. The Benwood Foundation is providing $150,000 and the Footprint Foundation another $58,000.
