Ruby Lee Gilbreath Clark, age 93, of Dalton (formerly of LaFayette) passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette for over 60 years.

Ruby’s working career started in 1949 for the Walker County Telephone Company where she worked for 45 years. She was one of the founding members of the Local Chapter of Arc of Walker County where she was Secretary-Treasurer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Eugene Clark Sr.; and son, Stevie Lee Clark.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly (Mark) Vickery of Dalton; son, Wesley (Janet) Clark of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Sam (Erica) Clark, Amanda (J.R.) Foster and Jacob Vickery; and great grandchildren, Ellena Clark, Kristen Newton, I.V. Foster, and Harley Foster. 

Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Dr. Todd Gaddis and Jim Moon officiating. 

Gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service after 1:30 p.m.
