Marjorie Ann (Pedigo) Walker, age 85, passed away Monday morning, August 12, 2019 at her home in Dayton. She was born on December 17, 1933 in Chattanooga, the daughter of the late Horton and Sarah (Thompson) Pedigo. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her brother, Horton Pedigo, Jr. and her sister, Jean Cantrell.
Marjorie was raised in St. Elmo and lived most of her life in Chattanooga. She was an underwriter and retired from Provident Life Insurance Co. in Chattanooga. Marjorie was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, enjoyed baseball, shopping, reading and sending cards to all of her friends. She attended the St. Elmo United Methodist Church in Chattanooga as a child and attended the Ascension Lutheran Church in Chattanooga.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Bill) Dearing of Cocoa Beach, FL and Susan (Don) Kucera of Hixson; her two grandchildren, Shanna Martini of Chickamauga, GA and Daniel Martini of Atlanta, GA; one great-grandchild, Connor Jenkins of Chickamauga, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Marjorie will be announced in a few days.
