Geraldine Baldwin
Geraldine Olivia Williams Baldwin, 90, passed away on August 10, 2019, in Chattanooga.
She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School where she was a team leader and played basketball. She was a member of Pierce Avenue MB Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Baldwin, Jr.; parents, Hillard and Helen Williams; step-mother, Myrtle Williams; children, Bobby Battle and Lamon Baldwin; brothers, Junior, James and Leroy Williams; sisters, Evelyn, Rose, Dorothy, Mary Frances and Carolyn Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory five children, Charles E. Williams, Andrew A. Williams, Marilyn K. Williams, Sylvia V. Clark and Carolyn W. Wright; one brother, Thomas Williams; six sisters, Barbara Williams, Bobbie Williams, Christine Williams, Patricia Williams, Virginia Williams and Linda Rice; son in law, Rev. William H. Clark; 10 grandchildren, Chetara, Antrovia, Erin, Ericka, Charles, Andrew, Mia, Lamon, Shonelia and Deanna; great grandchildren, Leah, Zaria, Curtis, Anastasia and Alexander and 10 more great-grandchildren and host of family and friends.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Aug. 15, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, in the chapel. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
