Owners Of Popular Nashville Sports Bar Purchase Former Market 212 Restaurant

  • Thursday, August 15, 2019

The owners of a Nashville sports bar have purchased the former 212 Market Restaurant.

Chad and Mason Revelette acquired the property at 212 Market St. from the Moses family for $1,350,000.

212 Market, operated by Maggie Moses and daughters Sally and Susan, was one of the first restaurants to open near the riverfront as a revival of that section was just beginning.

It was also one of the first "farm-to-table" local restaurants and was the first certified Green Restaurant in Tennessee.

212 Market was in operation for 25 years before closing in April of 2017. Maggie Moses had died in September of 2015.

The Revelettes operate Jonathan's Grille, which is tabbed as Nashville's #1 sports bar.

There are also Jonathan's Grilles in Murfreesboro, Franklin and Mt. Juliet.
