Defending SSAC Champion Loyola (La.) was picked to repeat in the 2019-20 SSAC Women's Golf Coaches' Preseason Poll. The Dalton State Lady Roadrunners missed out on the top spot, trailing the Wolf Pack by one vote.

The Lady Roadrunners lost only one senior, but return valuable experience in All-Americans Isabel Rijos, Cameron Daniel, and Hannah Gasaway, as well as redshirt senior Haejin Choe and sophomore Katelyn Skiffen. They also add two talented freshmen in Oklahoma Class 6-A State Champion Sydney Hermann, and 2-time Indiana Class 4-A, Sectional 7 Medalist Megan Donahue.
Dalton State is coming off a sixth place finish at the NAIA Championship in May where they were in striking distance early of the programs first national championship. They will tee it up for the first time this Fall on Sept. 16 & 17 in the Sand Shark Invitational at Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.
