At Knoxville, the McCallie middle school tennis team opened the season with an impressive 7-0 sweep of the Knoxville Webb Spartans.
Gabe Getz, Drew Holland, John Edwards and Barnes Thomas were victorious in both singles and doubles, and Adit Harish added another win at number 5 singles. Gabe Getz won 20 games and lost none for the day. Barnes Thomas had a come from behind win at number 5 singles after dropping the first set in a tie-breaker.
