With the addition of the renovated Miller Park in its footprint, Nightfall now includes activities such as outdoor lawn games, inflatable soccer goals from Chattanooga Football Club, plus art vendors in the new grassy lawn. Artist registration is still available for booth space throughout the season at http://www.nightfallchattanooga.com/nightfall-registration-form.

Review for The Happy Fits:

Headlining Friday at 8 p.m. is The Happy Fits, an up-and-coming youthful trio from New Jersey with catchy melodies, fun harmonies and raw instrumentals. Starting out as high school friends, their mix of rocking guitars and electric cello create a unique dynamic, blending their love of rock artists like The Black Keys and folk bands like The Violent Femmes. When the band recruited professional gamer Luke Davis to join the band on drums, The Happy Fits were born. The resulting music is a “happy fit” between rock and alternative. The band's first single "While You Fade Away" from their debut EP "Awfully Apeelin'" reached #5 on Spotify's Top 50 Viral USA Chart the first week of its release hit #17 on Spotify's Top 50 Viral Global Chart.

Review for Spinster:

Opening the show at 7 p.m. is local band Spinster, a trio of sisters who perform a genre-bending mash up of nostalgic and acoustic danceable pop beats. The band was formed after sisters Rosalie, Rachel, and Amelia unearthed their Amish grandfather’s accordion. Singing together since the womb, harmonies come easily and are inspired by a wide variety of artists including Blondie, Prince, and the Andrews Sisters. Their performances include a hodgepodge of instruments that find the perfect spin on old classics - playing flute, accordion, toy piano, xylophone, washboard, djembe, mandolin, banjo, up-right bass, ukelele and kazoo.

Food trucks and non-alcoholic drink concessions are available each week at Nightfall; therefore no outside food or beverages are allowed to be brought in to Nightfall. Known for its family-friendly environment as well as being recognized nationally for the quality of its musical programming, Nightfall is a family-friendly concert series with an average attendance of between 2,500-3,000 each night.

Nightfall is produced by Chattanooga Presents. For more information on this free community concert series, call 265-0771 or visit NightfallChattanooga.com
