A woman, 38, was shot on Ocoee Street Thursday evening.
At approximately 7:13 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to reports of a person shot in the 2100 block of Ocoee Street. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim had gone by personal vehicle to a local hospital.
Officers located and secured a crime scene in the parking lot by Ocoee Street. The CPD Violent Crimes Bureau was notified and responded.
Investigators spoke with the victim and witnesses who advised there was a large disorder taking place in the parking lot when a gunshot was heard.
The victim realized she had been shot and drove herself to the hospital.
