Mobile, AL - The Mobile BayBears came three outs away from a shutout in a 5-1 victory over the Chattanooga Lookouts Tuesday night at Hank Aaron Stadium.

The BayBears got on the board early against Chattanooga's RHP Johendi Jiminian (L, 3-5) with an RBI single in the first.

BayBears starter Luis Madero tossed four scoreless innings, and Jesus Castillo (W, 6-6) retired all nine batters he faced in relief with five strikeouts to earn the win.

The Mobile bullpen had retired 23 consecutive batters dating back to Monday's game before a two-out walk in the eighth.

With eight to the plate in the fourth the BayBears added to their first inning run with four more on three hits and an error. Lookouts would not recover from the inning.

Mobile's Jahmai Jones hit a three-run double to highlight the scoring in the fourth.

Lookouts batters could only muster four hits on the night but managed to stop a fourteen inning run drought.

Michael O'Neill broke up the shutout bid with his fourth home of the season to lead off the ninth inning. It was Chattanooga's only hit after the third inning.
