Charles Curtis Gaines, of South Pittsburg, passed away on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his father, Verlee Gaines; mother, Rosa Katherine Gaines; brother, James Cedric Gaines.
Those left to treasure his memories are his children, Andrea Lynn (Derek) Allison, David Jerome Gaines both of Stevenson, Al., and Anthony (Lisa) Gaines of Madison, AL; stepchildren, Roletta Beene and Rochelle Beene; siblings, Walter R. Gaines of South Pittsburg, Vera A. (George) Glenn of Jasper and Wayne L. (Darlene Kelso) Gaines of South Pittsburg; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Christopher Morris, Pastor George Green and Pastor Paul Robinson officiating.
