2 People Killed In Late-Night Crash On South Moore Road

A head-on crash on South Moore Road late Thursday night resulted in both drivers being killed. One victim was a man, 27, and the other was a woman, 49. A male passenger, 23, in one of the vehicles was injured. County School Board Votes 7-2 For New Contract With Supt. Bryan Johnson; Approves 2.5% Employee Raise

The County School Board voted 7-2 on Thursday night for a new four-year contract for Supt. Bryan Johnson that includes a significant raise to a base pay of $240,000.
