Mamie Pearl Sims Penney, 62, passed away on August 26, 2019.
She was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe I. Penney; mother, Pearlie M. Sims; brother-in-law, Bobby E. Ford, Sr.; sisters, Betty and Eva Ford; nephews, Bobby Ford, Jr., Alton, Lebron Sims, Robert Ford; niece, Sarah Ford; Survivors include her daughters, Pearlie Sims and Kathy Clark; sons, Michael Penney, LaTron Penney, Latrell Penney; brothers, John Sims, Alfred Sims, Samuel Sims; sister, Annie Ford; nephews, James (Kim) Ford, Willie Ford; six grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins; a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 3, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
