No. 919-1 A Resolution to approve and accept applications for notary public positions and the bonds and
oaths of notaries previously elected.
Res. No. 919-2 A Resolution relative to the consolidation of Hamilton County and City of Chattanooga delinquent tax litigation and collection.
Res. No. 919-3 A Resolution confirming the reappointments of James Walker and C. Alan Roderick and the appointment of Mark Matthews to the Hamilton County Board of Electrical Examiners for a term ending September 7, 2023.
Res. No. 919-4 A Resolution accepting the proposal of Symetra Life Insurance Company to provide Basic Life / AD&D, Supplemental Life, and Voluntary Long Term Disability Insurance for Hamilton County employees and authorizing the County Mayor to sign any contracts necessary to implement this Resolution.
Res. No. 919-5 A Resolution authorizing the County Mayor to continue grant contracts beginning October 1, 2019 and ending September 30, 2020, between Hamilton County and the Tennessee
Department of Human Services, and to sign any and all related documents, for $299,094 in Title
XX Social Services Block Grants (SSBG) to provide adult day care and adult homemaker
services to eligible individuals and families, and to amend the revenue and expense budgets by
$16,994.
Res. No. 919-6 A Resolution authorizing the County to continue to lease vehicles under the contract with Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. for Fiscal Year 2020 in an amount not to exceed $291,000 for said newly leased vehicles and authorizing the County Mayor to sign any contract necessary to implement this Resolution.
Res. No. 919-7 A Resolution approving the purchase of food products and related supplies, from Omnia Partners Public Sector for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Hamilton County Juvenile Court Detention Center, and authorizing the County Mayor to sign any contracts necessary to implement this Resolution.
Res. No. 919-8 A Resolution authorizing the County Mayor to participate in the Electronic Monitoring Indigency
Fund ("EMIF") relative to the payment of costs for eligible transdermal monitoring devices, other
alternative drug and alcohol monitoring devices, and global positioning monitoring devices for
its indigent defendants and to sign a memorandum of understanding with the State of
Tennessee ("State") about the payment costs and commit a budgeted amount of $80,000 that
will be matched by the State for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019.
Res. No. 919-9 A Resolution accepting the bid of Cargill, Inc. for one (1) year contract unit pricing, beginning
September 15, 2019, through September 14, 2020, for bulk de-icing salt for the Highway
Department and authorizing the County Mayor to sign any contracts necessary to implement this
Resolution.
Res. No. 919-10 A Resolution accepting the bid of Evans-Ailey Construction for the Mowbray Volunteer Fire
Department amounting to $5,995,000.00, for the Hamilton County Engineering Department and
authorizing the County Mayor to sign any contracts necessary to implement this Resolution.
Res. No. 919-11 A Resolution to authorize the County Mayor on behalf of Hamilton County Tennessee, the
Health Services Division, operating as the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department to
accept an agreement between Hamilton County and the City of Chattanooga to amend both the
expense, and revenue budgets of Emergency Solutions with an increase of $92,728.00 not to
exceed $132,728.00 for the budget period beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020 to
provide financial assistance to families and individuals to prevent those families and individual
from becoming homeless.
Res. No. 919-12 A Resolution authorizing the County Mayor on behalf of Hamilton County, Tennessee, the Health Services Division, operating as the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department to accept a grant in the amount of $144,367.00 from the Department of Health and Human Services for the purpose of expanding mental health and substance abuse services at the
Homeless Health Care Center and to amend the revenue and expense budget by $144,367.00.
Res. No. 919-13 A Resolution authorizing the County Mayor on behalf of Hamilton County, Tennessee, the Health Services Division, operating as the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department to sign a contract agreement with the Tennessee Department of Health to provide a continuation of funding for emergency dental care for uninsured adults ages 19-64 years for the time period July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
Res. No. 919-14 A Resolution authorizing the County Mayor on behalf of Hamilton County, Tennessee, the Health Services Division, operating as the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department to sign a contract agreement with the Tennessee Department of Health to provide a continuation of funds for health care safety net primary care services to uninsured adults in Hamilton County at the Homeless Health Care Center for the time period July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
Res. No. 919-15 A Resolution authorizing the County Mayor on behalf of Hamilton County, Tennessee, the Health Services Division, operating as the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department to sign a contract agreement with the Tennessee Department of Health to provide a continuation of funds for primary care services to uninsured adults ages 19 – 64 years at the Birchwood Health Center for the time period July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
