2 Men Shot In Separate Incidents In Chattanooga On Thursday Night, Early Friday Morning

Two men were shot in separate incidents in Chattanooga on Thursday night and early Friday morning.

At approximately 6:25 p.m. on Thursday, Chattanooga Police were notified of a 27-year-old man who walked in to a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
 
The CPD Violent Crimes Unit was notified and responded.
 
The victim advised he was riding in a vehicle and after turning onto Lightfoot Mill Road he heard gunshots and realized he had been shot. He was transported to the hospital by personal vehicle.
 

In the second incident, a few minutes after midnight, Chattanooga Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 3200 block of Montview Drive.

While searching the area, officers were flagged down by a person who led them to the victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers secured the area and called for the CPD Violent Crimes Unit to respond.

Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene but the 45-year-old man refused transport.

Despite the victim being uncooperative, investigators were able to determine that the incident took place in the 3200 block of Montview Drive.
