Why Are We Still Shocked At The Violence?

Tuesday, August 6, 2019

Why are we continually shocked at the increase in the mass shootings and the incredible rise in violent crime in both our city and the larger more noteworthy cities around the country?

We now have an incredible amount of the young adult (30 and under) population who have grown up without God...absent in their schools and in their homes. Our country has turned its back on God.

They have grown up “playing” violent, live action, video games, that desensitize them to death and gore.

They live in a country that no longer places a value on human life, born or unborn...and we are shocked that the killings are on the rise?

The unfortunate victims are just “targets” to their killers, not flesh and blood with a soul.

I’m saddened, but not shocked anymore.
