The Mighty Pines Perform At Riverfront Nights Saturday

Friends of the Festival presents another week of music by the riverside with The Mighty Pines in concert at Riverfront Nights. Presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the concert series is free for all to enjoy at Ross's Landing on the city's 21st Century Waterfront.

The concert opens Saturday at 7 p.m. with Kapo followed by headliners The Mighty Pines at 8 p.m.

Review for The Mighty Pines: 

The St. Louis based roots rock band The Mighty Pines create sounds from catchy rock n’ roll to earthy instrumentals and everything in between. The soul-inspired quartet has played hundreds of shows, some of which with names like Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth and Fruition. They have released three full-length albums since their start in 2012 including their newest release “The Mighty Pines Live."

With only two weeks left, Riverfront Nights presents Playin Possum Band opening for The Hi-Jivers on Aug. 17 and the series finale on Aug. 24 with Brownout and a tour of the LST 325.
