Paralegal Worked In The Public Defender's Office

  • Thursday, September 12, 2019

Angela M. Brown, 57, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2019.

Angie was born on March 10, 1962, and spent most of her life in Chattanooga.  She graduated from Central High School and attended college at Cleveland State, where she completed the paralegal training program.  Upon completion of the program, she began working for the Public Defender’s Office as Bill Dobson’s aide and assistant.  Angie attended Church of the Highlands in Harrison.  She loved animals, and had recently adopted a cat.  One of Angie’s favorite places was the beach, and almost every day she would watch the sun rise from a live Florida beach cam.  So to recognize how special and dear to her heart this place was for her, her family will have a scattering ceremony in her honor on the Gulf Coast. She is greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Patterson and father, George Goodson.

Angela is survived by her son, Seth who she loved dearly; sister, Bambi; brother, Chris; aunts, Lorrine Talley, Peggy Talley, Pat “Momma Pat” Wells as well as several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 2–6 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Highway 58.  All other arrangements are private.

Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home, Highway 58 Chapel, 423 622-3171.
