Alexander Lee Browne, Sr., 79, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at his home.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Allissor Browne. He was the owner and operator of Browne Laboratories for over 20 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved golf and bird hunting.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Irby Browne.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Browne, children, Emily Browne, Lee (Jennifer) Browne, Kimberlee (Jamie) Martin, Wayne (Jennifer) Wallace, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4-6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, at the Council Fire Golf Club in East Brainerd.
