Melvin Woodrow "Woody" Sandidge, 65, of East Brainerd, died on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
Woody was a 1972 graduate of Tyner High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His most recent home was in Winchester, Tn. where he loved playing golf and riding motorcycles.
Woody was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth, brother Michael, and sister Priscilla. His father Lester Sandidge passed after him on Saturday, Sept. 7.
Survivors include two sons, Matthew (Lindsey) Sandidge and Benjamin Sandidge, grandchild, Ezra Sandidge, and niece, Leslie (Dominick) Haven and Kalleigh, Kingston and Nick.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m. at Morris Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Royce Powell officiating.
Burial will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
