Dalton State's Vradenburgh Now 2-For-3 In SSAC Runner Of The Week Honors

Kathryn Vradenburgh of Dalton State (Ga.) was named SSAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. The awards are based on performance for the week of Sept. 9-15.

This is her second honor this season. In her debut race three weeks ago,Vradenburgh paced the Lady Roadrunners with a 13th place finish. She backed up her performance the next week with an overall victory in the Middle Georgia Invitational.

The freshman finished 11th out of 88 runners at the UTC Twilight Classic with a time of 14:39 in the 4K meet as Dalton State edged out SSAC foe William Carey in the team standings.
Overall, the Lady Roadrunners finished third in the non-NCAA Division I standings and sixth out of 12 teams in the event.
