Bradley County Detectives Rusty Bryant and Jerry Rogers, with the assistance of the East Ridge Police Department, arrested James Edward Polk in East Ridge.
Polk was wanted for his involvement in the auto burglaries that occurred on Sept. 5, in the Tasso Community in Bradley County.
Polk is currently charged with 39 counts of felony auto burglary as well as numerous thefts.
Detectives Rusty Bryant and Jerry Rogers, with the assistance of the Chattanooga Police Department and Chattanooga Housing Authority, also arrested the juvenile criminal associate of Polk in Chattanooga.
The girl was wanted for her involvement in the burglaries. She is currently charged with over 40 counts of felony auto burglary as well as numerous thefts.
At this time none of the stolen property from these crimes has been recovered. This investigation is ongoing as investigators continue to attempt to locate the stolen property.
