Chattanooga Red Wolves SC midfielder Ami Pineda and defender Tony Walls have been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 26 of the league’s inaugural 2019 season.
Pineda recorded his fourth assist of the season while Walls notched his second goal that ended up earning his side all three points against Orlando City B Saturday night.
Playing at home for the first time in a month, the Red Wolves jumped out to a first-half lead in the 34th minute after Pineda found Sito Seoane in space on the right flank.
Seoane received the pass and beat his defender at the corner of the 18-yard box before striking a left-footed shot that took a favorable deflection and found the bottom corner of the net.
After remaining level with Orlando for 20 minutes, Chattanooga regained the lead in the 54th minute after midfielder Josue Soto picked up a failed clearance just outside the 18-yard box and beat his defender to the endline before serving a left-footed cross towards the back post. Walls, who found himself unmarked inside the 18-yard box, nodded Soto’s cross past Orlando’s Christian Herrera to give his side the lead.
Pineda completed 25 of 30 passes overall and notched three chances created while also making five recoveries Saturday night. Walls had two chances created and made three interceptions, three clearances and four recoveries in the team's win.
Week 26 marks Pineda’s third appearance on Team of the Week and Walls’ fifth appearance.

D – Tony Walls, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC: Walls scored once, had two chances created and made three interceptions, three clearances and four recoveries in the Red Wolves’ victory against Orlando City B.
M – Nick Moon, Lansing Ignite FC: Moon recorded one goal on two shots, had four key passes and made three interceptions and seven recoveries in Lansing’s 1-1 draw against South Georgia Tormenta FC.
M – Paul Clowes, Greenville Triumph SC: Clowes recorded one goal and one assist, had four chances created and completed 43 of 53 passes to lead Greenville past Toronto FC II last Friday night.
