A Chattanooga woman was arrested for aggravated child abuse after she is shown with her month-old baby in a disturbing Facebook live video.

Charged was 24-year-old Tybresha Sexton.

Police said they were alerted by several people who watched the video.

Officers responded on Sunday to the Bayberry Apartments. Ms. Sexton denied there had been any child abuse and asked an officer to check the child.

Police said Ms. Sexton had alcohol on her breath and made irrational statements.

Police said the video shows her smoking a cigarette close to the child, shaking the baby, and picking the infant up by the arm and dropping the child.
