Hits 96/WDOD-FM and Songbirds Guitars will kick off a new interview series this weekend, Input/Output – From The Source Of The Sound. Moon Taxi opens the series on Saturday at 10 a.m. Ally Brooke is confirmed for Sept. 10 and that time will be announced soon. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Input/Output interviews will be hosted by Hits 96 personality Brad Steiner in front of a live-studio audience at Songbirds Guitars and then air on Hits 96. The interactive interviews will explore the artists careers, passions, and future plans and include a question and answer session.

“I am really excited about hosting this new series that will dedicate time to telling the stories from the next generation of musical ‘influencers,’" Said Mr. Steiner. "It creates a unique experience for our audience and an opportunity to bring truly special talent to a world-class stage at Songbirds Guitars, which connects them to the source of the sound. This is a perfect venue to showcase Chattanooga."

The Songbirds stage offers an unparalleled experience of artistry surrounded by a growing anthology of music history including classic American instruments from the 20s through 70s, some of which have been played by the most influential musicians in the world. It will also connect major recording artists to Chattanooga and the stations’ market-leading audience.

Using his 20 years of radio experience and his love of Bonnaroo, Mr. Steiner, along with Barry Courter, created the artist interview show, The What Podcast, which features their favorite Bonnaroo bands. Mr. Steiner added, “We set out to create a unique listening experience that allowed our audience to delve more into the bands and create a truly authentic experience. I am passionate about doing the same with the new Input/Output series and featuring artists heard on Hits 96 that are coming to Chattanooga.”

From Nashville, Moon Taxi brings their massive festival following after releasing “Let The Record Play” to critical acclaim in January via RCA Records. Ally Brooke, formerly of 5th Harmony, began her solo career in 2017 on Atlantic Records and is set to tour the country and the 28th season of Dancing With Stars.

Tickets are available for each event via the radio stations website at hits96.com or by winning them on the air during Mr. Steiner's afternoon show from 3-6 p.m. weekdays on 96.5fm.
