The Lord called Glenn Edward Wilt, 87, home on January 12, 2020.
Glenn was from South Pittsburg. He was born on Oct. 17, 1932, to the late Clyde and Donna Wilt in Jackson Center, Ohio.
Glenn enlisted after college in United States Army where he served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the EOD Ordinance Corp and Bomb Disposition.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Roberta Wilt; sons, Roger K. Wilt of Ft. Myers, FL and Glenn Roy Wilt (Cindy) of South Pittsburg, TN and granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Wilt.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 20, at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tn., from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. CST.
Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Joseph Manis officiating. A military service will be conducted by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
Glenn will be laid to rest at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, at 1 p.m. CST following the funeral service.
