Volunteers Needed To Retire Wreaths On Jan. 25

The record number of 13,284 wreaths that were placed on graves at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Dec. 14, 2019 will be retired on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 8:30 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Volunteers are needed and should park at the cemetery.

Wreaths will be collected from the graves and placed in recycling bends.  Anyone desiring to remove a wreath from a loved one’s grave, please remove the wreath prior to Saturday, Jan. 25.

According to Wreaths across Chattanooga Co-Chairman U. S. Navy (Retired) Captain Mickey McCamish, “The 2020 Wreaths across Chattanooga campaign is well underway with almost 2,000 wreaths donated that will be placed on graves on Saturday, Dec. 19.  For 2020, the mission of Wreaths across Chattanooga will remain to place a wreath on every gravestone at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
