Ann Douglass Anderson, 87, of East Ridge, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, after a recent fall and ensuing complications.  

She was a very active member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.

Ann graduated from Dyer High School and Lambuth College with a BA in Music.  She and her husband, Don Anderson owned East Lake Drug Company for 20 years where Ann was a clerk and bookkeeper. Following that she worked for Rogers Drug Store. 

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Don Anderson; two sons, Donie (Alicia) Anderson and the Rev. David G. (Carey) Anderson; one daughter, Marguerite Anderson; two grandchildren, Amelia Claire and Atticus; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, and from 12:30–1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Wesley Memorial.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with the Reverend Dale Gilbert and the Reverend Clair Sauer officiating.

Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
