Auditions For WMAC Theater In The Sky Will Be Jan. 27-29

  • Tuesday, January 21, 2020

Auditions for WMAC Theater in the Sky take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Jan. 27-29, at 6 p.m. in Conference Room 1 at the Mountain Arts Community Center.  The productions are scheduled for March 27-28 at 7 p.m. and a matinee on March 29 at 2 p.m.

Parts for eight women and 17 men are available for the three suspense thrillers selected to welcome the arrival of spring.  These original radio scripts reproduce the atmosphere, sound effects, and time period of the original productions.  Newcomers to radio as well as seasoned performers are encouraged to try out.  Past experience is helpful but not required.

The radio plays will be directed by Elsa Bastone, recently relocated to Signal Mountain, and who directed similar productions on Cape Cod.  Seth Graham will again make sound effects so chilling that blood will run cold. Volunteers to assist in crew, special effects, promotion, and publicity are encouraged to attend the tryouts.
