Ronald "Ron" Goins, 73, of Hixson, left on his new journey to heaven on January 22, 2020.
Ron graduated from Chattanooga High School and was employed by DuPont and retired in 2002. He enjoyed travel, visiting National Parks and driving his 72 Monte Carlo to cruise ins and car shows. He was a member of Burk’s United Methodist Church and the Pairs & Spares Sunday School class.
He is survived his devoted wife of 55 years, Teresa Goins; daughter, Angela (Ed) Duke; much loved grandsons, Riley and Aaron Duke; sister, Rose (Ed) Campbell; brother, Glen Goins.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, prior to the Celebration of Life.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, at Burks United Methodist Church with The Reverend Dr. Tony Collins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Sack Pack Lunch Program at Burk’s United Methodist Church.
