Anderson Sawyer
Bro. Anderson "Danny" Sawyer, 64, formerly of Chattanooga, had his homegoing on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at his residence in Los Angeles, Ca., after fighting a long illness.
His passion for life was sports, and animals. He worked for the Veteran’s Hospital in Los Angeles for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Frances Sawyer; brother, Eugene; sisters, Joann and Gloria.
Survivors include siblings, Delores (Sam) Douglas of Hinesville, GA, brother, Jackie (Linda) Sawyer, Jacqueline Moore, both of Chattanooga, and Lawrencene Kuettle of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
Burial will be on Monday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
