A 20-year-old man was shot early Tuesday morning in Brainerd after being chased by another individual.
At approximately 12:52 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call in the 4900 block of Greenview Drive.
Upon arrival, police located a person with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
Police located a crime scene in the 5000 block of Cameron Lane.
Based on preliminary investigation, CPD Homicide Investigators believe the victim was chased by the suspect(s) vehicle from Cameron Lane to Greenview Drive.
The suspect(s) fled the scene.
