Lawrence J. Rice, Jr., 95, of Apison, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Erlanger East, Chattanooga.

He was born in Charlotte, Mi., on January 20, 1925. He was a printer for the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the College Press.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence J. Sr. and Martha (Avery) Rice; and his wife of 58 years, Delores (Satterlee) Rice; brother, Nevin Rice; and sister, Lenna Mae MacIvor.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane Crane and husband Daryl, and Cheryl Peasley; brother, Lavern Rice and wife Linda; sister-in-law, Lana Rice: 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be sent to the following charities in memory of Lawrence: Your Story Hour and 3ABN. A memorial service will be held at Collegedale Memorial Park, Collegedale, at a later date.
