Pruitt Is Guilty Of Targeting

  • Tuesday, October 20, 2020

Are you kidding me?  Pruitt fires the defensive line coach? One of the poor souls who have had to stretch their players over 80 percent of the entire game clock, because the quarterback is playing junior high school football, badly. The quarterback can’t even keep the ball for four downs. The defense is gassed in the third quarter.

The defense is throwing their bodies out there and giving everything they’ve got.  The defense is all that Tennessee has had. For 18 years, it’s all the UT Vols have had.  The defense is the only respectable aspect of this pitiful sports programs attempt at competing.

So Pruitt ‘targets’ an understaffed defensive line coach to take his anguish out on. Well brother, let me share what a 49 year Vol fan knows.  A ‘target’ is a penalty.  Ignoring the real problem is a foul. And wearing blinders to play your quarterback/disaster will find you in a whole lot of misery before you get fired.

Vol fans may have had to get used to defeat, but we will never get used to stupid.  Ask your predecessors.
