I support Vicki Anderson in the race for Signal Mountain Town Council because I know she will inject some fresh energy and propose creative solutions.
Many on Signal know and love Dr. Anderson as a former assistant principal at Nolan Elementary. As a student parent and active volunteer there, I witnessed how well Dr. Anderson listens to different people, summarizes what is learned, and then provides different options to resolve issues.
Vicki is both an excellent team player and leader. She is known for thinking ‘outside the box’ which inspires others to do the same.
We need some new and creative ideas to help our town recover from lost revenue of the Hall tax and generate more revenue for our town without having to just raise taxes.
As a former assistant principal up here, she developed good relationships with our town’s police and firefighters. As an artist and musician whose son still takes lessons at the MACC, she is familiar with that facility’s recent remodeling and related expenses.
Like fellow candidate Andrew Gardner, Vicki also understands that young families in our town need a bigger voice on the Town Council. Both hope to solicit more feedback from more citizens so that excess town funds are appropriated to meet priorities and desires of the majority of our town residents.
Please join me in electing Vicki Anderson to the Signal Mountain Town Council.
