Alice Barnes
Alice Wadene Barnes, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020, in Springhill, Florida.
She was born in Chattanooga, to the late Wade and Lois Travis Fisher. Alice was retired from Erlanger Medical Center. She was a member Silverdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Barnes; son, Michael Dyar; and a sister, Norma Walker.
Alice is survived by her life partner of 15 years, Glen “Jack” Weaver; son, Phillip Gregory Dyar; granddaughter, Ferris (Kenny) McCurry; great-grandchildren, Jacob Dale, Scarlett Faith, and Alice Sage McCurry; sister, Iris Tapley.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Alice will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday, at the North Chapel with Deacon Leonard Villalpando officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
