All is fair is the title of this and speaks to a larger issue. Members of the Republican Party, Trump's photographed spying on voters dropping off ballots. Texas governor chose to eliminate voter boxes in Texas. Why oh why is it so necessary for the party of Trump and other Republicans to be so bothered by who votes and further, for whom?
I think the simple answer is fear and that fear is reduced to what the overall GOP party actually controls and in simple terms the party controls the levers of taxation. That power largely means that those with money, Republican, can pay little or no federal taxes and leave the actual tax burden to the Democratic middle class.
Even I, a retired educator, pay more taxes then the GOP's golden boy, Donald Trump.
All those that have not voted yet keep the power of the federal government in mind. We, all of us, do not have to let one political party control all the levers of government.
