Franklin Battle
Franklin Roger Battle, Sr., 75, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, in a local hospital.
He was formerly employed by Crane.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh and Willie Battle; brothers, Ernest Battle and William Battle; sisters, Bernice Gardenhire, Alma Smith, and Pauline Battle.
Survivors include his son, Franklin (Corliss) Battle, Jr.; grandson, Franklin Battle, III; sister, Winifred Slay; brother, Troy (Brenda) Battle; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 9-3 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the burial to follow at 3:30 p.m. in Highland Memorial Gardens.
