Willie James Love, Jr., age 53, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on Nov. 18, 1966, the son of Marie Sagoes Love and the late Willie James Love, Sr. For many years he was employed at Shaw Industries as a truck driver, a member of True Gospel Pentecostal Church, graduated from Rockford West High School in Rockford, Illinois, and attended Dalton State College.

Survivors are his loving and devoted mother, Marie Sagoes Love of Dalton, Georgia; a foster daughter, Cyncere Washington of Orange Park, Florida; two sisters, Tracy Love, Joyce Love of Dalton; aunts, Janie (Ronald) Jackson of Dalton, Betty Louise (Romeo) Boyd of Rockford, Illinois; uncles, Larry Sagoes, Sr. of Stockbridge, Georgia, Eddie Sagoes of Dalton; cousin, William Love, best friend, William Pardlow of Dalton; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel with Rev. Joseph Quinn and other ministers officiating.

His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from noon until the funeral hour on Thursday.

Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Ga.
