Donald Willard Patterson, 63, of Old Fort, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at his residence.
He was a member of Conasauga Baptist Church and enjoyed collecting robots and brass items. Donald was a wonderful artist, candle maker and an avid music enthusiast and candidly enjoyed the outdoors, especially the mountains. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Patterson and brother, Charles Daniel Patterson.
Survivors include his beloved son, Christopher Patterson and wife, Doris; loving mother, Joan Pellom Patterson; adored grandchildren, Olivia Patterson, Alyssa Patterson and Bryson Patterson; sister, Charlotte Danielle Reynolds and husband, Stan; and brother, David Richard Patterson. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive.
A private Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Sunday, Oct. 25 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home. with Pastor Jackie Martin officiating.
