Crumley, Shirley Green (Cleveland)

Shirley Green Crumley, 65, of Cleveland, departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her residence. Born Aug. 26, 1955 in Illinois to the late Calvin and Lilly Green, she spent a majority of her life in Bradley County, and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing gospel music, going to the mountains and spending times with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Naomi Green; brother-in-law, Howard Lumley Jr.; and mother- and father-in-law, Fred and Anna Lou Crumley.

Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 46 years, Tony Crumley; daughter, Karen Driggins (Steve), of Rossville; granddaughter, Anna Summer Driggins; sister, Rosetta Lumley, of Cleveland; brother, Ronald Lee Green, of Cleveland; and several other extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life and home going for Shirley Ann Green Crumley will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1 in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home, with Brother Floyd Boggess officiating. Burial will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
