Willena Samples
Willena S. Samples, 75, of Old Hickory, Tennessee, was called home on October 29, 2020, after a lengthy illness.
She was predeceased by her parents, the late Percy and Rosie Lee Allen; husband, United States Army Veteran, Leroy Samples.
She is survived by her daughter, Ramona (Larry) Walker, Mt. Juliet, Tn.; son, Darryl (April) Tucker, Conyers, Ga.; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; three siblings, Betty Ross, Norma Ross-Williams, Atlanta; and Jimmie Lee Allen, Chattanooga; countless friends and family.
She was known as “granny-granny” to her great-grandchildren and was the life of the party.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held privately. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
