Evelyn L. Stinnett, 91, of Old Fort, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lake and Lizzie Liner; loving husband, Marvin Stinnett; sister, Peggy Liner Cates; brother, Jack Liner; brothers- and sister-in-law, Jerry Stinnett, Paul Stinnett and Lucille Shipman.
She is survived by her beloved children, Mike (Vickie) Stinnett and Ann (Ronnie) German; adored grandchildren, Marshall (Erin) Stinnett, Mathew Stinnett and Emily Janssen, Drew (Tucker) German, Laura (Eddie) Swallows and Hollie (Matt) Lowe; great-grandchildren, Ezra Kyle Swallows and Jackson Ledger Stinnett coming in February 2021; and sister- and brother-n-laws, Billy (Leota) Rice, Billy (Drusilla) Stinnett, A.J. (Shirlyn) Stinnett, Clara Stinnett and W.L. Shipman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home, with Pastor Jimmy Parm and Pastor Charles Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Benton Memorial Gardens with Drew German, Marshall Stinnett, Mathew Stinnett, Eddie Swallows, Matt Lowe and Kim Frady serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2 and from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
